Kimberly McCullough Smash, MD, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Tougaloo College graduating with honors in Mathematics/Computer Science. While pursuing a Master's Degree in Software Engineering at Ole Miss, she decided her heart was in medicine.   She attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and completed residency at the Wayne State University/Crittenton Family Medicine Residency Program serving as the Chief Administrative Resident. Dr. Smash returned home in 2010 so that she could practice in the community that nurtured her during her formative years.   She believes that when our hearts are at home, it helps to inject life into the community around us.  Additionally, she faithfully volunteers at a local free clinic and gives her staff time off to do the same. As the Founder of Prolific Health and Wellness, a Family Medicine Practice, she ascribes to the slogan “Your Health in Abundance”.

Dr. Smash has been married to her husband Jerriot, a local entrepreneur, since 1999 and they have a beautiful daughter Isabella.
